Shirley is a small village clustered around its church, positioned between Ashbourne and the rolling countryside of south-east Derbyshire. Brynfields sits on the village edge, a brick-built property with enough space for six people and direct access to peaceful farmland beyond. The ground floor holds a living room with a wood burner, dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and all the usual appliances. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a king, a double, and a twin (the twin is accessed through the double), plus a bathroom with a bath and shower. One dog is welcome and stays free.
The garden is substantial, with seating areas and furniture for outdoor meals. There is parking for four cars on site. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with initial fuel for the wood burner. A pub lies within a mile. Ashbourne, a proper market town with Georgian architecture and independent shops, is a short drive away; the Derbyshire Dales themselves—designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—spread out on your doorstep. No smoking inside the property.
