Butterfield Cottage

Buxton sits at the heart of walking and cycling country, and Butterfield Cottage puts you within reach of the High Peak trails and moorland beyond. The village itself has pubs, cafes and shops within a short walk, and the cottage's position on the edge means you get both convenience and quiet. It sleeps six across three bedrooms—a double, another double, and a twin with its own shower room—plus there's a family bathroom with a bath and shower on the first floor.

The ground floor holds a living and dining space with a wood burner, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge all do their job. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are provided, along with initial fuel for the burner during winter months. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Outside, there's a front patio with furniture and an enclosed back garden with a second patio, a bench and bike storage; a gate from the back leads to a nearby playground and free car park. The cottage does not permit smoking.
