We had a wonderful weekend at Cuckoo Down Farm! From the warm welcome to the lovely space… it was all perfect for a chilled birthday weekend with 3 generations. We loved the hot tub and cosy fire too! Devon is gorgeous - we especially enjoyed the village Beer! Highly recommend! Thank you Jacq, Lars and family xx

We just got back from this glamping site in Devon with our 5-year-old and we’re already planning to return in August 2027. Only 3 other tents in the field so it felt private, peaceful, and blissful. No internet or electricity meant we actually switched off as a family. Instead, we played games, enjoyed being outside and spent evenings in the woodfired hot tub and then despite being in a tent, slept in comfortable, proper beds. It was perfect for our son. Woods right there to play in and forage for twigs to make Harry Potter broomsticks or swords. On our first day there was even the chance to check the hen house for eggs and ride a Dartmoor pony. The compost toilet was as good as you could hope for, shower was hot, tent warm with the woodfired stove and the hot tub was emptied, cleaned, and refilled once during our stay which we really appreciated. Becca and her son who came to clean the hot tub and change over the other tents were wonderfully friendly and so good with our boy, and then owner Becky and Jon were the loveliest people you could meet. Genuine, warm, and clearly care about their guests. Location is great for exploring Devon too. If you want peace, beautiful scenery, and proper family time without screens, book this.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an absolutely incredible family staycation! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The glamping accommodation and facilities were truly 5-star, offering the perfect balance of luxury, comfort and being immersed in nature. The setting is simply beautiful – peaceful, picturesque and the perfect place to switch off from busy everyday life. Waking up surrounded by nature, listening to the birds and enjoying the stunning surroundings was exactly what our family needed. The hosts were exceptional. They were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home from the very beginning. Their attention to detail and genuine passion for creating a memorable experience really shone through. This was the perfect opportunity to reconnect as a family, spend quality time outdoors and enjoy a slower pace of life without compromising on comfort. We made some wonderful memories and left feeling relaxed, refreshed and already planning our return visit. If you're looking for a unique family getaway with outstanding facilities, beautiful surroundings and the most incredible hosts, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A truly special experience and a well-deserved 5 stars!

We stayed here for my friend's hen do on their first open weekend of the year in April and we couldn't have been happier. We had booked the whole site and it was beautiful. Everything was perfect and the communication with Becky was great. I'll definitely come back with my family.
