Excellent camp site. Plenty of space on level fields. Great warm welcome. Shop on site sells essentials. Small lounge area with a number of phone charging points was a welcome bonus. Showers and toilets were also very good. The only downside for walkers on the South Coast path is the steep hill to reach the camp site. Would stay here again if I'm in the area.

We've been coming to this campsite for a couple of years now when we have surf holidays and it's my favourite campsite we've tried so we always return. The staff and service is amazing, so friendly and helpful. The toilet blocks are also really good, having the mix of a M/F block and a mixed block with individual toilet/sink/ shower bathrooms is very handy. The campsite shop is an Aladdin's cave in its own right, very well stocked with loads of local bits and different things to try.

I've been to this campsite many times so it's pretty shameful that I haven't reviewed it before! I've always had a 5 star experience each time, whether it be the friendly and accommodating staff, the amenities are plentiful and clean (laundry, washing up area for dishes and one for wetsuits, showers, toilets etc.) or just the well kept site itself with beautiful views. The shop has also been recently upgraded with almost everything you could ask for. Over my many times visiting, it's great to see that the team are upgrading and improving where possible. It's also perfectly located only a short distance up the hill from Woolacombe beach. The drive to Putsborough/Croyde/Saunton beach is super easy. It's become a staple for me and my friends and family. If I lived a bit closer, I'd visit much more often as these guys deserve all the success and business in the world. Big thanks to the team for providing many happy memories. Hopefully they'll be around for many years to come!

Overall great campsite. Really friendly and helpful staff (both the campsite itself and AJ’s food vendor). Toilets, Showers and pot wash plentiful, very clean and in good working order. Site is on sloping ground, but hey you’re in Devon, don’t forget your van blocks! Would highly recommend.
