About Pearchay Farm Camping

Follow the bridleway onto this peaceful working farm at the foot of several public footpaths, where you'll share the soil with gently grazing cows, sheep and horses. Just outside the market town of South Molton, Pearchay makes a well-maintained base for rural rambles through the Devon countryside, with Exmoor National Park only 20 minutes' drive away. The sandy north Devon coast is under an hour away for surfing and paddleboarding.

Campfires are permitted—hire a large firepit and purchase wood on site—and dogs are welcome on a lead. Both non-electric grass pitches for tents and motorhomes are available, with showers, a toilet block and washing-up facilities provided. Some visitors note the site can feel a little tired in places, but the tranquil setting and access to walking routes more than compensate.

Local pubs and restaurants serving Devon food and beers are within 10 minutes' drive, and nearby activities include cycling, fishing, golf and horse riding.

A lovely campsite with everything you need. The pitches are a great size and we had one fully hedge lined which gave us privacy. The facilities are superb and it’s lovely to have a small bar onsite too. We had a minor medical emergency whilst we were there and they were ever so helpful in extending our stay whilst one of us was in hospital. Really couldn’t have asked for more! Hope to return and have a slightly more successful holiday with you soon :)

A beautiful little site, wild flowers and sunken pitches roped to mark the area. Lovely little shop and bar although closed by 7 when we were there. Clean showers and toilets. Close to Exmouth seafront and a short stroll to the local pub which was very nice. Overall great value for money.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the campsite. Absolutely stunning location. Only a 20 min walk into the centre of Exmouth. The campsite was kept very well pitches were great 👍. Also the facilities were kept clean and the showers were brilliant. Would highly recommend to stay there. Staff were really friendly too. ❤️😎👍

I stayed a few nights and truly enjoyed it. My camp spot was in the furtherest corner on top of a slight incline, which meant a lovely view and feeling tucked away. The walk to the shower unit was a nice little walk. The campsite has drinking water taps throughout the site. The wildflower beds are so cute adding a nice detail. The shower unit was absolutely the best for a campsite. Clean and modern. The receptionist was lovely as well. Easy 20 minutes walk straight to the beach as well. Highly recommend Prattshayes Campsite.
