About Torre View Farm

Spectacular South Devon countryside without the faff of narrow lanes – that's the winning formula at Torre View Farm, a working beef farm just off the A381 yet deep within the South Devon AONB. This tiny, peaceful site offers generous rural pitches with those promised views, plus remarkably easy access to Kingsbridge (five minutes' drive) for provisioning or an evening out.

Facilities are deliberately simple: non-electric grass pitches, an outdoor toilet up at the farmhouse, and natural spring water on tap (best boiled before drinking). There are no showers, but there is a septic tank for grey water and waste. What you gain instead is proper tranquillity, space to breathe, and a perfect base for exploring – Dartmoor walks inland, South West Coast Path rambles and Salcombe beaches to the south, or family days out at Woodlands Theme Park.

With a perfect 5.0 rating and room for just a handful of units, this feels like camping as it should be: uncomplicated, beautiful, and genuinely remote without being difficult to reach.

It's been a very long time since we've visited Torre Cider Farm. Really lovely place to sit and enjoy a coffee and cake, or cider if you prefer. Dog friendly. Lovely play area for kids. Plenty of parking. They have a couple of super chilled pigs, although our 2 year old Cavapoo found them very scary!! they also have chickens, a rooster and some rather big ducks. Really lovely place to visit. Friendly staff. Delicious coffee and teacakes.

It's one of the most beautiful places I've been lucky enough to visit! Super friendly staff, Freddie, the one-eyed goat 🐐 is just brilliant. The scenery is breathtaking. I'm so glad we went! The apple juice is lovely, and so we breakfast! Highly recommend a visit!

Excellent little working cider farm. You can walk among the various different breeds of apple in the orchard and there's a small restaurant which serves very nice food. They make a few different cider flavours which are all very nice, as well as gins and such. I recommend the honey cider 👌 *Update* Been again this year (2024). Still a great place to visit. The only thing I'm a bit gutted about is that the cider is no longer sold in the glass jars as it used to be. We all still enjoyed walking through the orchard and the kids loved seeing the animals and playing in the play area. Food was lovely and the staff were very friendly.

Just love it out there. I Take my aunties out there alot. Sally and her team are fantastic! Not just with us but with all the customers. Staff are polite, attentive and lovely. Had an elderly uncles birthday a few weeks ago and pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a nice time..thank you x
