About The Duchess of Cornwall
Free on-site parking is a rare enough perk that it's worth leading with, and The Duchess of Cornwall on Queen Mother Square in Dorchester offers exactly that, along with round-the-clock reception for whenever you arrive. It's a straightforward, comfortable hotel rather than anything showy, but it covers the essentials well.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available to order in, and accessible options for those who need them. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a restaurant and bar with outdoor seating for meals or a drink at a slower pace, with kids' meals catered for too. Meeting rooms are also available for anyone combining the stay with work.
The hotel sits within easy reach of a golf course, pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby, and makes a sensible base for exploring Dorset's attractions and the Jurassic Coast beyond the town itself.
