A delightful setting - glorious country park. Super friendly hosts. Easily the BEST showers ever! Recently refurbished. Lovely hot water, non slip flooring and spacious shower units. A “nice to have” would be a bench to sit on to dry your toes! We were here when a couple of geese were raising their brood on the lake which was a joy to watch. You can walk into town along the back roads which is very pretty but also steeply up hill. We used Berwick Taxis - Julian is super friendly and flexible.

Had a caravan and tenting break here with others. Lovely location a bit of road traffic noise but not enough to really bother you too much. If you like walking or to have a pub nearby you will need to drive somewhere for these. For walking there is no access from site itself. But there is a large field to walk around if you want something. Pretty small lake in one of its beautiful camping fields. Very well laid out with really good size pitches. Toilet block and showers clean but only two of each. The team on site you cannot fault very friendly, welcoming, relaxed and accomodating. Thank you for our great stay.
