Hillside Camping and Caravan Site

Lovely weekend at Hillside campsite for my friends hen do, booked via Beautiful Belles. The location was so beautiful and the decor in all the tents and main communal area was gorgeous and everyone said how cosy they were at night; hot water bottles were a great shout! We had so much space and everything was just really clean too. The team at Hillside campsite were super helpful too, very welcoming and provided a tip top pizza recommendation. A massive thank you. Our bride was so happy and she said the whole weekend was more than she could of dreamed of imagining.

Loved it! This is such a lovely campsite. The facilities are brilliant (yes lovely hot showers). The company that are here for hen parties is brilliant. They went above and beyond with the decor and spaces to make it such a lovely place to go! I would thoroughly recommend!!

The location, tents, seating areas were all beautiful and pleasant. Very lucky it was not raining as it would be very tricky to bbq or similar with any rain. Really lovely lounge tent and we had a nice time with friends sitting in the sun. Unfortunately the kitchen area was SO small with a tiny, very warm fridge (although perhaps some of the warmth was due to trying to fit food for 16 in a tiny fridge). Shower facilities basic, two showers and a toilet to be shared between two hen camps, so potentially 30 plus people. No tea or coffee provided which was a shame. A two ring electric camping stove was provided and a kettle. We had a great time but I would highly recommend looking at other glamping sites such as those at The Pythouse Kitchen Garden Co which had much larger, better equip cooking and dining facilities and provided tea and coffee, wood etc for a very similar rate and had more bathrooms per person.

We've just returned from a weekend of glamping where facilities and tents were provided by Beautiful Bells and campsite by Becky from Hillside. Upon arrival, Becky was there to greet us and showed us all the facilities. She was on hand for any questions asked. She kept the communal facilities so well maintained. There were 2 different parties happening, I was in a group of 8 and the other tent had 21 people! There were 3x toilets and 3x showers and not once we were queuing to use them. 2 big sinks for washing up too. I saw Becky also cleaning the facilities after the morning showers - really impressed! Plenty of parking available and was close enough to the tents so we could unload. The whole place is really well thought through. Better than your normal camping experience! Would highly recommend the 2 companies!
