About Starlight Glamping
On the outskirts of Stourton Caundle village in north Dorset's rolling countryside, Starlight Glamping offers an intimate escape for families and dogs seeking peace with a few luxury touches. Owners Debbie and John provide spacious bell tents complete with real beds, proper mattresses and all linen – no need to haul bedding from home. Each pitch features outdoor seating draped in fairy lights, perfect for lingering outside as dusk falls.
The North Dorset Trailway, a 14-mile former railway line ideal for walking, cycling or riding, lies just ten minutes away. Sherborne Golf Club's 18-hole course and Todber Manor Fisheries' 20-acre angling lakes are both within easy reach, while Dorset's coast and swimming beaches like Bowleaze Cove are under an hour's drive. That said, you might simply fancy strolling five minutes across the field to the village pub, or nipping to Stalbridge's supermarket for locally sourced provisions from over a hundred growers and bakers.

Debbie and the Starlight glamping was absolutely amazing!! She was so helpful, quick to communicate and the tents and area was so lovely and well set up! My sister had an amazing unforgettable hen and I highly recommend! You could really see the stars shining at night too, it was beautiful.

Brilliant place to camp with friends and family. Debbie and John went out of their way to help us and accommodate all our requests. We stayed there with our family and had a lovely time. And it's a stunningly beautiful and peaceful place as well. Can't wait to go back!

We had a fabulous last minute stay at Starlight Glamping. Due to our original accommodation being double booked, Starlight Glamping was suggested as a solution for our large extended family group, who had travelled some distance to Dorset. In just a couple of hours, Debbie and John pulled out all the stops to set us up with several beautiful bell tents with comfortable beds, as well as sorting us out an area to cook in. The washing facilities are lovely and clean, and there is plenty of outdoor space to relax in. The site was also a good base to explore Dorset further. Furthermore, we had a lovely meal in the pub one evening. Thank you again for rescuing our holiday!

This place is such a lovely retreat to break away from it all! Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking a family friendly glamp site! Spot on all round!
