Tom's Field Campsite

Stayed for one night early April 26, pitch was large enough for our needs with power supply. Acces was interesting with you having to pop out of your vehicle to open the gate whilst removing a post and obviously putting all back again once clear. Dog friendly with a well supplied shop on site, facilities are feeling tired and could do with an upgrade but they were clean and did the job required. Didn’t see a play area Lovely little nooks and crannies for those in tents. Pub in the village Overall happy to recommend

Highly recommend this campsite if ypu are visiting Swanage. Perfect location, just a 10min bus/drive into Swanage. A fantastically maintained campsite and great facilities which are very clean. The cafe on site is fantastic too, selling coffee, waffles, breakfast baps, pizzas, pastries and lots of other niceties! The owners are also so hospitable and were very helpful and welcoming.

We absolutely love staying at Tom’s Field Camping in Swanage. It’s become a bit of a tradition for us — we’ve been coming back for the past five years with our two young children and our two dogs, and it never disappoints. The location is brilliant — just a short walk to Dancing Ledge, which is a real highlight, and within easy reach of Swanage and a great choice of beaches. There’s also a pub within walking distance, which is a nice bonus. The pitches are a really good size, giving you plenty of space, and the whole site feels safe, relaxed, and family-friendly. The shop is well stocked, the staff are always friendly and welcoming, and everything is kept clean and well looked after. There’s also a lovely café on site that does great breakfasts and pizzas. The toilets and showers could probably do with a bit of an upgrade, but they are generally clean and do the job. Overall, it’s fantastic value for money and one of those places you just keep coming back to. Highly recommend for families, dog owners, and anyone looking for a relaxed, well-located campsite.

Lovely, small family owned campsite, tucked down a little side road of the village. Fair pricing, great facilities and a lovely shop which had all the bits you might need at a campsite - individual packs of tea/coffee/salt etc plus much more. We stayed in the glade area which was lovely and secluded. Close to swanage, dancing ledge walkable and plenty of older style pubs drivable nearby.
