The Moorings

Dumfries and Galloway draws visitors for its lochs, walking routes and proximity to the Scottish Borders. The Moorings is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house that accommodates eight guests in the Grummel Park area, with private parking for four cars and an enclosed garden with patio. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

The ground floor contains a living room and dining room, each with a fireplace, plus a kitchen fitted with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. There is also a utility room with washing machine and freezer, and a shower room. Upstairs are the four bedrooms: two with kingsize beds, one with two single beds, and one with bunks. The main bathroom has a bath with shower attachment. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included; heating and hot water run on gas and electricity. The house accepts one pet but is non-smoking throughout.

The enclosed rear garden offers a sitting area with furniture, useful for quieter evenings. Bike storage is available on site. For families or groups wanting a base to explore the area's three lochs or venture further afield—the M74 is a ten-minute drive away—this gives you the run of the whole property to yourselves.
