Booked this campsite last minute for 1 night sunday easter weekend. Beautiful campsite. Beautiful surroundings, clean showers and washrooms, absolutely amazing for children with a park & also a little veiwing farm area with alpacas , pigmy goats & more & also is set upon a working farm which is nice. So so happy to find this place and will definitely be back again. Absolutely beautiful campsite we have found, thankyou so much:):):) just wish we had found sooner.

Superb place to stay with a touring caravan, if you wish you can purchase a static caravan and enjoy a more comfortable, home from home environment. You don’t have to buy a new caravan, as clean, well looked after caravans become available due to upgrading. Children can play on a well equipped designated play area. The site is safe at the rear of a working farm, half a mile from the nearest road. Hetherick Caravan Park is a great place for you to stay. You can visit Barnard Castle, Raby Castle, High and low force. Middleton in Teesdale, just to mention a few. Come and enjoy. We did.

Best place I have stayed, owners are just the most welcoming & kindest people. Fantastic area just outside Barnard Castle. Campsite on a farm & If you want friendly, quiet with no social club then this is the place to book your peace & quiet. The kids have a great roaming area for freedom & exploring & a play area & great for adult walking & exploring. Showers are just amazing & the best (certainly beats my home), lovely soft water. Fresh farm eggs for breakfast, just perfect.

Great site not far from lovely historic Barnard Castle. Good facilities, good host and tent pitches very quiet.
