Really nice 2-night stay at Castle View. Rooms were exceptionally clean and well appointed. Breakfast options were great and host greeted us personally and made us feel at home. Easy walk to everything you needed to see in Durham.

Absolutely outstanding guest house - I was really impressed from the moment I arrived. The room was enormous and very comfortable, with everything I needed and was excellent value for money. It was the perfect temperature and almost unnervingly quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. Breakfast was great, and the owners were very accommodating. I will definitely stay there again when I am next in Durham.

A lovely stay in a fantastic location, just a 10-minute walk to the castle 🏰. We visited at the beginning of the week, so it was nice and quiet, with the pub across the street closed during that time 🍻. Parking was free with a 3-hour permit, and it's free from 6pm to 8am 🚗💨. The place is super clean, with high-quality furniture, and the bed was incredibly comfortable 🛏️. The bed linens were top-notch as well. Breakfast was amazing, with a generous selection of quality items 🥐🍳. The hot chocolate was the best I've had in a long time ☕🍫. There’s also a great variety of tea and coffee to choose from provided in the room🍵. Highly recommend!
