Mablethorpe's sandy beaches, amusement arcades and paddling pools are a quarter-mile away, and the coast road south opens up Sutton-on-Sea, Sandilands and Anderby Creek for seafront walks. Fantasy Island and Butlin's are a short drive, as is Skegness with its funfair and theatres. North towards Donna Nook, the seal sanctuary draws visitors during breeding season when around a thousand pups are born there each year.
