Barn Cottage

Barn Cottage is a converted barn on the edge of Alford, within walking distance of Skegness seafront and its sandy beach. The property sits on a quiet cul-de-sac next to a golf course; the clubhouse welcomes day visitors. You get the whole place to yourself, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and room for four guests. One dog is welcome here.

Ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining space with a kitchen where you can cook properly, plus a utility room with a washing machine. Upstairs, one bedroom has a kingsize bed, the other offers a single and a pull-out single. Both have their own television. The hot tub sits in the enclosed garden, which has patio seating and a barbecue. Wi-Fi and bed linen are provided; you'll need to bring towels or arrange hire. Parking is for one car; there are steps down from the parking area to the entrance.

Skegness offers traditional seaside entertainment—donkey rides, outdoor bowls on the front, and amusement arcades. Fantasy Island Theme Park is two miles away. Natureland, with its seal sanctuary and aquarium, is three-quarters of a mile. A leisure complex with a swimming pool and day visitor facilities is one and a half miles. Shops and pubs are a five-minute walk. No smoking inside the property.
