Greetham Retreat - Maggies Mews

Maggie's Mews is a two-bedroom cottage on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, near Horncastle. You get a ground floor with living room and kitchen-diner, plus two bedrooms each with its own bathroom—one upstairs has a Jacuzzi bath and shower, the other downstairs a shower. Both bedrooms have televisions, and the living room does too. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge-freezer for self-catering. Oil central heating keeps things warm, and wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included.

Outside there's a patio with seating, parking for two cars, and access to four acres of grounds. The property takes one dog. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in an external utility room (charges apply). Check in is after 4pm and checkout before 10am. No smoking indoors. There are steps at the entrance and an unfenced lake within the grounds, which matters if you're bringing young children.

Horncastle, a short drive away, has antique shops, cafés and pubs, plus a weekly market. The Wolds themselves offer walking and cycling through rolling countryside. The coast at Skegness and Mablethorpe is within reach for a day out, as is Lincoln with its cathedral and castle.
