Elmhirst Lakes

Delightful Peaceful. Just returned from a fantastic week at Elmhirst. The lodge was almost clinically clean on arrival. Everything you need is supplied, bar bedding. The lodge extremely comfortable for two adults. The fishing is good, clean waters, beautifully coloured carp.. Will return and certainly recommend.

We had a lovely static caravan, (The New Hampton) . Everything was catered for & the caravan was clean & nice. The site was very peaceful & beautiful & in a lovely area. There were lots of ducks & moorhens with ducklings/youngsters & I managed to hand feed the little ones which was delightful & they love people. They wasnt shy at all. Horncastle is a lovely town with lots of nice little shops, brik a brak, nick naks etc. Tescos is only a 5 minute drive away for your shopping. Derek's Angling shop is a 10 minute drive for all your fishing needs too. The weather was glorious the week we went & the fishing was lovely. Between us we caught some Mirror Carp, A big Double Carp, Rudd & lots of Bream. We had a great time in a lovely part of the UK. Thankyou ♥️ xxx

Stayed here many times. Peaceful and relaxing and always a warm welcome. You can park next to your accommodation and the fishing is just out front or a short walk to the smaller lakes. Plenty to see and do in the area if you need a change from the fishing and the lovely town of Horncastle is about 10 minutes walk away.
