Boston sits on the edge of the Lincolnshire Fens, close enough to the coast for a day trip yet surrounded by quiet countryside. The Dovecote occupies the ground floor of a former agricultural building, converted into a compact, self-contained space for two. Inside you'll find a living room with a smart TV, a kitchen equipped for cooking (oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave), a bedroom with a king-size bed, and a walk-in shower room. The heating is underfloor, electricity and Wi-Fi are included, and there's parking for one car on site. The rear garden has a patio and seating.
This is a place to unwind rather than a base for heavy sightseeing. The Lincolnshire Wolds are nearby for country walks, and pubs and cafés dot the villages within easy reach. The seaside at places like Gibraltar Point is roughly half an hour away. Those interested in aviation history will find RAF Coningsby (home to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight) and the Lancaster Bomber taxi runs at East Kirkby both within a short drive. Boston itself—three miles away—has a pub, restaurant and shops, while Horncastle, with its antique dealers, is also accessible. No smoking inside the property.

Just had a short break here and have to say the Dovecote is stunning. It is very nicely decorated and is spotlessly clean. It is down a farm track and although there are a few farm offices and barns nearby it is very quiet. It is the perfect location for exploring much of Lincolnshire and not too far from Skegness and the coast. The only downside was that the internet connection is very slow, but this is down to BT and the remote location.

Beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. It is in the middle of nowhere which is great if you want a quiet escape but does mean you have to drive if you want to explore Lincolnshire. Side point but related as you will have drive is that some of the public roads near the Dovecote are terrible with potholes beyond epic proportions. We have a small car and I think I could have lost the car in some of them.
