A converted barn in rural Lincolnshire, Cornflower Cottage has kept original character while offering modern comfort. Everything is on the ground floor: two king-size bedrooms (one with an ensuite shower, one with a full bathroom), a kitchen diner with electric cooking and a dishwasher, and a sitting room opening onto a courtyard. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. There is private parking for up to 4 cars on site, a garden with seating, and a bike store.

The location works for exploring the Lincolnshire countryside on foot or by cycle, with routes starting from the door. The local pub is 2 miles away. Boston (8 miles) has the famous Stump church and a weekly market. Coningsby, 2 miles off, is home to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Lincoln's cathedral, castle and Bailgate shops are within easy reach, and the coast near Skegness is about 20 miles away. Coarse fishing is half a mile away. The cottage does not permit smoking.

We have just returned from a stay in “Cowslip Cottage” at Wildmore farm cottages. What can I say, we had no idea what to expect, Idyllic, so peaceful, hosts are very good. We have had a really relaxing break, the accommodation has everything you require, a fascinating array of literature. In fact my wife had to buy me a book before we left, because I hadn’t finished reading the copy in the cottage. We didn’t get to see everything we wanted to, so are already planning a return. If you want peace and quiet and a relaxing break book it, I’d be very surprised if anyone were disappointed.

I booked this place for an extended weekend away. I'd only ever been close by the area when visiting Cadwell Park and was unsure what to expect. The cottages are really nice, both Inside and out. The interior was decorated to a high spec. Our cottage was very cosy. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need. , the perfect spot to relax , the garden area had seating allowing us to enjoy the warm evenings and eat outside. The host/owner Karen is a really lovely lady. Very warm and welcoming and helpful. The area surrounding is beautiful, and there are a lot of places to visit a short drive away. My only gripe was, although almost everything had been thought of. There was no iron or ironing board and the TV was not a smart TV, so I couldn't use my subscriptions (Netflix, Amazon prime etc...) on a night. I definitely enjoyed my time here and would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
