Families and couples after a coastal break will find 15 Bridlington Bay works well for a group of four. The lodge sits within Bridlington Links, a residential park midway between Bridlington town and Flamborough Head, with the golf course and beaches nearby. One small dog can stay free, though it must be kept on a lead at all times. The whole property is yours alone, with private parking for two cars.

Ground-floor living means no stairs to navigate. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living space gets light from French doors that open onto an enclosed decking area with garden furniture. The kitchen has an electric cooker, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave, so cooking proper meals is straightforward. An electric woodburner provides warmth in winter. Bedrooms are a double with ensuite shower and a twin, with a further bathroom containing a bath and shower. A separate utility room has a washing machine. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included.

The park itself offers a golf course (at cost) and gym (at cost), both shared facilities. The decking overlooks parkland where you can watch for deer. Bridlington's seafront, amusement arcades and attractions are within easy reach, as are the cliffs and walking routes around Flamborough. No smoking in the property.
