Christine Cottage
East Riding of Yorkshire
View on Google MapsFlamborough Head attracts birdwatchers from across the world to watch thousands of seabirds—particularly puffins—clinging to the chalk cliffs each year. The RSPB sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, a ten-minute drive away, has viewing platforms built into the clifftops. Walking the headland itself takes you past Danes Dyke, a nature reserve, and down to the beach, which is within walking distance of Christine Cottage. Bridlington harbour, still active with fishing boats, lies ten minutes further along the coast.
The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite or nearby bathroom. Downstairs holds a living room with woodburner and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, induction hob, dishwasher and all the basics. Parking for two cars sits on site. One small dog stays free. The essentials—electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels—are included, with a travel cot and highchair available if needed.
You'll find shops, bars and restaurants within the village itself. The cottage occupies a quiet courtyard near the church, though it's a detached property, so you have it entirely to yourselves. No smoking indoors.
