Freya Cottage & Christine Cottage - Freya Cottage
East Riding of Yorkshire
Flamborough lies on the Yorkshire coast between Bridlington and Filey, known for its chalk cliffs, seabird colonies and traditional fishing heritage. The village has shifted toward tourism while retaining its character, with independent shops, pubs and restaurants within easy reach. Freya Cottage is a detached property situated in a quiet courtyard near the church, putting you a ten-minute stroll from the beach and within reach of Bempton Cliffs—where puffins nest between April and July—and the clifftop nature reserve at Danes Dyke.
The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: two doubles and two singles. The ground floor contains an open-plan living space with a television and a kitchen equipped for full self-catering, plus a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs is the third bedroom. Underfloor heating throughout, along with electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi, are included. There is private parking for three cars and a small terrace with garden furniture. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
This is a straightforward base for families wanting beach time, coastal walks or visits to nearby attractions like Sewerby Hall—set across fifty acres with gardens, a small zoo and playground—or the working harbour at Bridlington with its amusement arcades and sandy beaches. No smoking inside the property.
