Flamborough's chalk cliffs and bird reserves lie within easy reach of Gull Newk Cottage. The RSPB sanctuary at Bempton is a couple of miles away, and the headland walks start from the doorstep—this stretch of coast draws walkers and birdwatchers throughout the year. Shops, pubs and beaches in Flamborough village are within walking distance. The cottage itself sits on the outer headlands, set back from the busier seafront.
The property sleeps five across three bedrooms. Downstairs there is a living room, dining room and kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave, so cooking is straightforward. A separate toilet is on this floor. Upstairs, a kingsize bedroom has an ensuite shower; two single rooms share a family bathroom with a bath and shower. A third single bedroom is on the top floor. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. An enclosed garden with furniture and a barbecue looks out towards the headland, and there is parking for one car on site.
No smoking indoors. The cottage works well for families exploring the coast, or for anyone wanting a base for the walking and cycling that this landscape offers.
