Hollym Holidays - Daisy Decker
East Riding of Yorkshire
Photo: Google Maps
Hollym is a quiet village on the East Riding coast, close enough to the beach for a proper seaside break but far enough inland to feel genuinely rural. Daisy Decker sits here as a converted double-decker bus—the whole property is yours for the stay, with a private garden, parking for two cars, and an unusual interior that makes it immediately memorable rather than just another cottage.
The ground floor has a kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, a wood-burning stove, Freeview TV, shower room and toilet. Upstairs are the bedrooms: one double and one with three singles, both with windows onto the surrounding countryside and towards the coast. Bed linen, towels and electricity are all included, and you arrive after 2pm and depart by 10:30am. The garden has seating and furniture; there's also a children's play area on the grounds (shared with other properties on site). No smoking indoors.
Withernsea is minutes away if you want shops and cafés. The walking and cycling routes across the fields and along the coast are the real draw though—this corner of Yorkshire has quiet trails rather than crowded tourist routes. Hollym itself has a pub and a garden centre with a café for practical needs.
