The Roost began life as a stable block and hayloft in 1810, now thoughtfully converted into a four-bedroom cottage that retains the character of its agricultural past. It sits within Manor Farm Cottages, a cluster of three holiday homes arranged around what was once the working farmyard, on the Flamborough Outer Headlands near Bridlington. The setting is quiet countryside, but the Yorkshire coast and its famous nature reserves are within easy reach.
Inside are four en-suite bedrooms sleeping eight: one with a king bed, one with a zip-and-link super king (or two singles on request), one double, and one with two singles. Downstairs there is a living and dining room with a 40-inch smart TV, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—gas hob, electric range, dishwasher and all the basics. The property includes bed linen, towels and wifi; heating and utilities are covered too. One well-behaved pet stays free. You have the whole place to yourselves, with private parking for three cars and an enclosed garden with patio seating.
The grounds of Manor Farm Cottages include a shared children's play area, natural gardens with a summerhouse, BBQ and garden games, plus a bike store. Bempton Cliffs Nature Reserve, home to puffins, gannets and guillemots, is a 5-minute drive or accessible on foot. The cottage does not permit smoking.

A perfect relaxing break in a beautiful part of the world. The cottage is absolutely perfect for our needs and ticks all the boxes for the two of us, plus our cockapoo Beau (who didn't want to leave lol). Upon arrival it soon became apparent that it's a little gem, so much so that we have already booked again for next year. Hats of to the owners, who provide such an amazing home from home.

A return visit to Manor Farm cottages and on this occasion we stayed in Puffin Cottage which is lovely cosy accommodation.. All areas of the cottage were spotlessly clean. Lovely comfortable large bedroom. The cottages are in an area which is great to explore this part of the coastline and also the Yorkshire moors. Paul & Kerry are great hosts and I have no hesitation in recommending the accommodation and we certainly expect to return in 2024. Glenn & Eileen Fowler Borrowash, Derby

Absolute gem. Perfect place to stay. Very comfortable. Would be incredibly hard pushed to find somewhere to match the high standard of The Roost. Well designed. Very clean. Wonderful garden. Kerry and Paul have thought of everything. Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay so much so have booked twice for next year. Highly recommend.

The b&b is excellent, 4 bedrooms all with ensuites. Slept 9 adults and 3 toddlers easily. Close to Filey, Bridlington, and Flamborough, would certainly visit again and would highly recommend!
