Marton Manor Cottages - Clydesdale Cottage
East Riding of Yorkshire

You walk into an open-plan ground floor where the living and dining areas flow into the kitchen—all of it on one level, with a single bedroom tucked alongside. Upstairs are two more bedrooms: one with a double bed and television, the other a single with a z-bed for flexibility. A bathroom with shower over the bath completes the layout. The cottage sleeps five and is yours alone for the duration of your stay, though you share the grounds with other properties on the site.
Clydesdale Cottage sits on a working farm where a family has converted old barns and outbuildings into six holiday homes. Each cottage is named after a horse breed. The farm has a shop and café, and a petting area where children can meet animals. Parking for two cars is private; everything else—the acre of grassed field, the children's play area, the bike store, and the utility room with washers and dryers—is shared with the neighbouring cottages. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, and essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered.
The location works as a base for exploring the Yorkshire coast, with Bridlington's beaches and harbour within reach, or heading inland to the North York Moors and the Wolds. Sewerby Hall is nearby; Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere are a short drive away. No smoking is permitted inside.
