Suffolk Punch is a converted barn cottage at Marton Manor Cottages, a working farm between Bridlington and the Flamborough coast. The property sleeps five across three bedrooms—a double and two singles, one with a child's z-bed—plus a single bathroom. Downstairs, an open-plan living space combines the kitchen, dining and sitting areas; the kitchen has a gas cooker, dishwasher and microwave for self-catering. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included.

The farm site itself is the real draw. A café serves breakfasts and other meals, there's a farm shop selling local produce and goods, and children can visit the on-site petting area to meet the animals. A shared acre of grass and a children's playground are available to guests, along with a sitting-out area with garden furniture. One small dog stays free. The cottage has private parking for two cars and a bike store; a utility room with washing machines, tumble dryers and a freezer is shared with other properties on the site (honesty box system). Travel cots and highchairs are available on request.

Sewerby Hall, a Georgian mansion overlooking the sea, is nearby. Bridlington's beaches and harbour are within reach, as are the clifftop walks toward Flamborough. The North York Moors and Yorkshire Wolds lie inland. Smoking is not permitted.

Fantastic baby shower today at Marton Manor Farm Shop and tea room. Individual venue and fabulous set up. Clean and cool, on another scorcher of a summer day. I would highly recommend for any special event.

Lovely breakfast options. Very helpful staff, eager to please with specific requirements for our group of eight. Lots of seating inside and out. Gluten free options. Would recommend.

We popped in for a quick lunch, and what a good decision! Superb tea room. Friendly staff. Home cooked food. The paninis were outstanding. Sadly, the bacon sandwich less so, it was a little on the stringy side. There aren't many tables in the main part of the tea room, but there was outdoor seating available and more tables in the conservatory. The small menu and the prices are reasonable. The farm shop next door is small but well stocked. Local produce is on sale as well as gifts, postcards, etc. Disabled access is good. There is a small "petting zoo" with donkeys, goats, sheep and a couple of pigs. Bags of animal feed are on sale in the shop.

Great place to stay and nice to retreat to after a busy day on the east coast. The cottage has everything you need and "really warm". The Hosts are very welcoming and friendly, we would definitely return here again.

Diners like this cafe's delicious breakfast options, including a full English breakfast, and a wide variety of merchandise in the farm shop. They also highlight the friendly and helpful staff, who are eager to accommodate specific requirements. Guests mention the clean and well-presented environment, with ample seating both indoors and outdoors, including a dog-friendly conservatory.
