Rockville Farm - Rockville Lodge
East Riding of Yorkshire

On the edge of a 10-acre nature reserve in East Riding of Yorkshire, Rockville Lodge offers a private escape with genuine wildlife on your doorstep. The farmland around it attracts deer, foxes, hedgehogs and hares; a pond supports birdlife including barn owls, and Bempton Cliffs RSPB sanctuary is just over a mile away. The lodge itself is single-storey, accessed by two steps, with all living spaces on the ground floor.
Inside, an open-plan living area includes a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—gas oven and hob, dishwasher, and all essentials—alongside a separate snug overlooking the bird feeders. Two bedrooms (one kingsize with ensuite shower, one single) and a family bathroom serve three guests. Decking and a sitting-out area are private to the lodge; the wider grounds, shared with other properties on-site, include a summerhouse, BBQ and bike store. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The lodge does not accept children under 12 due to an unfenced pond 50 yards from the buildings, and smoking is not permitted.
York is less than an hour's drive, but the immediate appeal here is the landscape itself—a real working farm where you can watch wildlife from dusk onwards, and the coastal cliffs are close enough for a morning visit.
