Rockville Farm - The Milking Parlour
East Riding of Yorkshire

Step through the door of The Milking Parlour and you enter a single open-plan room on the ground floor—stone underfoot, with a wood burner warming the living area and a kitchen fitted to cook proper meals. Upstairs, a bedroom with a kingsize bed and exposed beams sits above, with a bathroom housing shower and bath. The whole building is yours alone, set on a working farm with nature on the doorstep: grassed paddocks, woodland walks where owls and badgers roam, and enough space to breathe. One pet is welcome.
Two miles gets you to the beach. A working farm means there's a pond in the grounds—unfenced, fifty yards from the cottage—which matters if you're bringing children. Shops, a pub and restaurant are just 500 yards away. Bempton Cliffs and its RSPB sanctuary, famous for nesting seabirds and views toward Flamborough Head, lie 1.5 miles off. Bridlington's fairground and pools are ten minutes by car; Scarborough's theatres and restaurants twenty. For something inland, the North York Moors National Park is an hour's drive. Parking for two cars sits on site, and wi-fi keeps you connected when you need it.
