Seabird Lodges - Gannet Lodge
East Riding of Yorkshire
The RSPB sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs lies just 1½ miles away, where seabirds nest on dramatic clifftops with views across to Flamborough Head. Filey's five-mile stretch of award-winning beach is five miles distant, backed by a long promenade lined with restaurants. The village itself has a shop 80 yards away and a pub 170 yards on foot. Slightly further out, Flamborough is three miles; York's Minster and medieval streets are an hour's drive.
Gannet Lodge is a ground-floor barn conversion with wooden beams and a wood burner. The open-plan living space combines the sitting area, dining space and kitchen in one room. The bedroom holds a zip-and-link super kingsize bed (can be separated into two singles on request), and there is an ensuite shower room with heated towel rail. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge-freezer. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; initial logs for the burner are provided. Two cars can park on site; a bike store is available.
This is a two-person property only. No smoking is permitted inside.
