Swift Cottage is a terraced cottage at Charity Farm Caravan Park, positioned at the end of its row on the East Riding coast. The building sits close to Sewerby Hall, a Georgian country house with public gardens, zoo and café facilities. The beach lies 150 yards away; a pub is a hundred yards down the road, and shops and restaurants cluster nearby.
Two bedrooms sleep four: one has a double bed, the other two singles. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Downstairs there is a combined living and dining room with a 24-inch Freeview TV and DVD player, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. A separate toilet is on the ground floor. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided. The cottage has its own sitting-out area and shares a courtyard with a patio; bike storage and parking are available on site. No smoking inside.
From here, Bridlington's sandy beach and working harbour are a short walk, with the Spa Theatre showing touring acts along the seafront. Bempton Cliffs to the north has nature trails and viewing platforms for seabirds. Inland, the North York Moors, Yorkshire Wolds and market towns like Beverley and Driffield are within easy reach, and York lies under an hour away.
