Photo: West End Farmhouse

The Yorkshire coast draws families for its beaches, walking trails and birdwatching spots, and West End Farmhouse puts you within reach of all three. The detached house sits in Bugg, a quiet village where a 15-minute walk takes you down to the shore. Bridlington's seaside attractions are eight miles away; closer still are the cliffs at Bempton, where you can see puffins and gannets, and stretches of the Cleveland Way for long coastal walks and cycle rides.

Inside, the house fits six across three bedrooms: two doubles and one with twin single beds. Two bathrooms serve the upstairs and ground floor. There are two separate living spaces, each with a television and fireplace, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; initial fuel for the open fires is included. A large enclosed garden with patio and terrace has furniture and a barbecue, plus a bike store for exploring the lanes. Private parking accommodates two cars. No smoking inside the property. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

Stayed here last week , excellent , well equipped , lovely big spacious house , hosts are spot on , we had left something in the house and Andrew and billie jo very kindly arranged to return to us , thanx very much again , garden was huge , well kept and secure , perfect for our 3 labs , we were really lucky with the weather , spent every morning outside having our coffee while watching the blue tits feed , local shop and pub is 1 mile away , Fraisthorpe Beach is a 10min drive and perfect for dogs , hopefully we'll get back to west end farmhouse soon , just perfect to take your dogs and chill out for a few days , tbh I don't think you'd be able to find anywhere better ☺️

Lovely rural setting. Extensive open gardens but safely fenced. Dog friendly and short of nothing but toilet rolls 😀. Excellent for a family group.
