What visitors say
Lovely park with a number of lakes and paths. Great for walking and cycling. You can also hire paddleboard, dingys, canoes and bikes as well as launch your own for a fee. There is also a children's play area that has recently been updated. Plenty of parking around the lake. Ideal for picnics. There is also a new cafe.

Great day out, but watch the extra costs! ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Visited on the 27th of August with my granddaughter and overall had a really lovely day. The park itself is very well maintained and kept clean. We started off with a bike ride around the main lake which was lovely, followed by a visit to the play park. The main event for my granddaughter was the Aqua Park inflatables—she had absolute brilliant fun! My only real issue was the price: at £22 per person for just one hour, it feels a bit steep and can make a full family day out quite expensive. That said, all the staff we spoke to were very helpful and friendly. It’s great that you can hire pretty much everything on-site too—bikes, canoes, paddleboards, wetsuits, and life jackets—so you don't need to haul your own gear. All in all, an enjoyable day out and we’d definitely return, just be prepared for the activities to add up!

Absolutely amazing place for a day out. Rother Valley Country Park is clean, peaceful, and really well maintained. The lake views are beautiful and there’s plenty to do whether you want to walk, cycle, relax, or enjoy water activities. The staff were friendly and the whole atmosphere felt safe and welcoming. Great parking, good facilities, and loads of space for families, couples, or even just going solo to unwind. One of the best outdoor spots around the area — definitely worth visiting again.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Rother Valley Country Park is a total gem. Here is a 5-star review you can use for Google Maps, TripAdvisor, or Facebook: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Day Out for Everyone! I can’t recommend Rother Valley enough! Whether you’re looking for a peaceful nature walk or an adrenaline-packed afternoon, this place has it all. What I Loved: * The Atmosphere: Even when it’s busy, the park is so spacious that it never feels cramped. The views across the lakes are stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset. * Activities galore: From the cable ski and jet skiing to the more relaxed pedalos and mini-train, there’s something for every age group. The cycling paths are flat and well-maintained, perfect for a family bike ride. * Dog Friendly: It’s a paradise for dog owners. Plenty of space for them to run, and the "dog wash" station near the café is a lifesaver after a muddy walk! * Facilities: The café serves great coffee and ice cream, and the seating area overlooking the water is the perfect spot to recharge. Parking is easy and reasonably priced for a full day of entertainment. Top Tip: If you're visiting on a weekend, get there early to snag a prime picnic spot by the water! We will definitely be back. It’s easily one of the best country parks in the region.
