Hello Kitty Cafe Edinburgh

I've been to Cafe Kawaii soo many times now and it is definitely my new favourite bubble tea shop. Last time I was here I ordered 'Big Green Strawberry' it was absolutely gorgeous. I've tried a lot of different drinks from here now and not once been disappointed! I 100% recommend and will not be going anywhere else for my bubble tea fix

Took my daughter here for the first time for Bubble Tea as it is her favourite drink and Wow , it was amazing. Lovely little gift shop to browse selling all the on trend gifts like Labubu , Sonny Angel , Hello Kitty and lots more. Sarah was lovely in helping us pick flavours. My daughter went for the Mango with Apple Boba and I went for the Grape with Watermelon Boba. Will definitely be back again for more Bubble Tea. The cutest little cups too made my daughter want to keep the cup .

I stumbled across this beautiful little shop after my partner’s daughter was raving about the bubble tea! Visited when I was nearby and had a lovely chat with the beautiful owner Sarah, bought some blind boxes and a delicious bubble tea. And since then have visited a few more times and have left with a big smile every time! Sarah has put a lot of time and dedication into her shop and its shows. Always recommend!

I visited Cafe Kawaii on its opening day and in my experience that tends to be the worst for a business and customers. If so, it bodes well for the petite cafe as they were switched on, friendly and efficient. "Cafe" is a slightly misleading description as Kawaii is essentially a takeaway (sushi and bubble tea) with some merch to buy. The merch lives up to the name! "Kawaii" is cute and here you can buy cute plushies in the Japanese style. Fat cats with content smiles or with bat wings. I had a very competitively priced bubble tea. You can have yours with a milk base but I went with grape flavour and then enhanced with strawberry flavoured popping boba. Summer in a cup. It was delicious and the cup had cat ears. There's a trend here. Delightfully, Cafe Kawaii opens after work and I can see people getting home to flats on London Road becoming regulars. The cafe already has a loyalty card.
