Yet again a fantastic holiday for complete relaxation and a welcome reset from our busy schedules. We stayed on Blossom 5 pitch - all pitches are a very good size and have electric and water and tv Ariel’s too but the owners (Indi and James) have put a lovely new service block in with shower facilities. The weather was on our side this time and it was beautiful. We had walks along the canal and a lovely ice cream at the van located by the canal lock. You can walk for miles along the canal if you want to because it is flat and easy access for bikes, pushchairs and wheelchairs if needed. We also visited Malham Cove which was beautiful and very busy. It was nice to see the cows and sheep in the fields on our pitch - we had the occasional cow peep through the trees at us and our dog was mesmerised. This was our second stay at this site and we can’t wait to come back. Our neighbours on the next pitch (Clive and Barbara) were lovely and they have extended their stay which speaks volumes. They had a problem with their electric tripping and asked if we could help. The owners are able to be contacted by Facebook or by knocking on them. Thanks Indi and James for yet another amazing opportunity to stay at your amazing home. See you again soon, Mark, Clare and Dougie xx

We are in the middle of our stay at Ashkey's and the first few days have been extremely peaceful. The site is about 5 miles from Skipton and has a few pubs nearby. The site looks like it has had a lot of investment recently including a new looking toilet block. The site has huge spaced out pitches and plenty of room for your car and caravan as well as an awning. On arrival we picked our own pitch which they allow and signed in. The toilet block has a pot wash room, an information/sign in room with decent info of the surrounding area, walks and places for the family etc. We stayed on blossom 5 tucked away in the far corner and out of the way. It has a large walled field for the dogs immediately next to it. This site seems to be tucked away in the middle of nowhere and the road in towing a caravan should be exercised with caution. Overall we are thoroughly enjoying the time here apart from the terrible weather. One thing I would like to add to help is the fact my wife and I are very unsteady on our feet and the owner took in some medicines for us that my daughter had posted from home so that was so nice of her..... She even wandered up to deliver it! If I can add a small criticism, maybe put one toilet and one shower in the men's and women's disabled friendly.... I struggled to stand up after using the toilet so a grab rail and a sticker on the door saying disabled would really help. A brilliant peaceful site.

Fantastic site. Huge pitch, brilliant location and really quiet. Arrived at 9pm after work, pitched up and all sorted. All pitches are serviced with EHU and water. Looks like a brand new facilities block, absolutely spotless and lovely hot showers! Self checkin is great too! Will defo come back soon for more than one night

This is the first time stay at Ash Keys and it hasn't disappointed. Wide open spaces between pitches. Fully serviced. New toilet and shower block. What's not to like. If you like to be left alone and enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The road net work in the Yorkshire dales is mostly single track with passing places, so be aware and drive slowly. The campsite approach is single track for a short distance but nothing to worry about. Follow the site information pack and you shouldn't have a problem. This site is ideally situated for most of the local attractions.
