Small caravan park in Gargrave with showers, next to a garage and bike shop.
About Eshton Road Caravan Park
Eshton Road Caravan Park is a modest caravan site on the edge of Gargrave, a village in North Yorkshire between Skipton and the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. The scale is intimate rather than sprawling – this is not a large touring park, but a straightforward spot with space for a handful of caravans and showers as the main facility.
The immediate surroundings are practical and unpretentious. A garage and bike shop sit a few doors down, useful for any roadside needs. The canal is close by, offering a walk and a change of scenery from the pitch itself. Gargrave itself is a working village rather than a tourist honeypot, which means the site tends to be quieter than busier parks on the Lake District circuit, and pitched more towards those needing a functional stop than those seeking a resort atmosphere.

What visitors say
Small caravan park near a canal and within walking distance of local amenities. Toilet block is small and showers are in a separate building but it's adequate for the size of the site. The owner is a very friendly and down to earth/jovial bloke. It's a beautiful area and it's a good base for exploring the Yorkshire dales. Skipton is just a short drive away. I've stayed here a couple of times and I find it quite pleasant. Ace chip shop in the village 😙.Skipton is a4 1/2 mile walk along the canal from the site.

Lovely wee spot to pitchup for a couple of nights! Right on the canal and a short walk into the village with quaint shops cafe and a couple of good pubs. We have an elderly cocker who loves our van and enjoyed the short cut to the pubs!🥰 weather was not the best but made the best of it as you do.😄 great spot to meet our friends on their long boat ⛴️

We stayed here walking the pennine way. It is right by the canal. We were camping in small tents there is a area by the office, next to the road. The showers and toilet block are in the main caravanWe park as well as the pan wash area. Lovely soft level grass area. Friendly chap runs it. Idea for walkers on Pennine Way
