Stamford Way Fisheries and Camping

The best fishery and campsite me and my partner and kids have been to was absolutely brilliant and we will 100 per sent be coming back for a weekend in August and we're gunna do a full week in September the fishery was absolutely bang on everybody caught lovely decent size carp me my partner caught and all my 5 kids in fact we was pulling them out on the Friday we fished first pond and had loads out and on the Saturday we fished second pond and exactly the same catching left right and centre the kids are begging me to go back and me and my partner loved the place and all the site is beautiful the grass is all cut lovely and clean the showers were absolutely brilliant for a campsite nice and warm and clean same as toilets everybody was polite the cafe was opened on Saturday to watch England match and my 3 boys were sat with all the adults I stayed and fished as football doesn't interest me and everybody was lovely to my 3 boys they were like part of the gang 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the overall site was well maintained clean and had everything you need pot washing facilities bins for your crap and waste disposal had drinking water taps could even fill a little pool for kids no rush to get out on the Sunday was nice not to be rushed to go the bait I bought from there and to be honest the price was right and carent complain we were welcomed when we come also of girl in cafe yeah so brilliant time lovely and we will get in contact with Dan to book another weekend and a week there once we no what dates we wanna go we was really happy with the place kids loved it

Absolutely brilliant day, even though the weather was a bit rubbish. The site is in very good condition and the fishing pegs are well kept. Settled up for fishing at the cafe and grabbed a sausage butty, which was amazing! I fished open water on pole with 6mm pellet and had a decent day's fishing. A few friendly fisherman kindly gave me some tips which is always appreciated. Will 100% be returning.

First time here with my caravan, Dan & his family made us feel very welcome & could'nt do enough for the kids (even got free Easter eggs after breakfast) which has got to be the best in North Wales and very good value for money. There is a small fishing pond stuffed with fish for the kids to catch on ( can't fail) if you don't fancy trying the bigger ponds. Had an Easter break here and Storm David put the dampeners on it a bit, but we will definitley be back when the weather improves. Thank you Dan & family.

It's a great place to go, relax and de-stress, the food & breakfast is tasty & filling, real butchers sausage amoung other tasty pies are all cooked well. Dan & the staff are friendly, open & accommodating towards your needs. The location is out of the way enough to feel far enough from life to be able to recalibrate of one self yet close enough to shops, welsh hills & stunning scenery to remember your still on planet earth. Do enjoy !
