Stayed here for two nights in a tent. Nice flat campsite. Smaller field for tents as every where else was hard standing for caravans. Plenty of space mid week in June/July. Toilets and showers clean and tidy. Lights not working in the toilets so headtorch was needed as night. (There is some light, just not enough once the door closes). Chap who ran it was very nice and helpful. Great location for exploring the area. Its right next to the railway line but trains only come through at reasonable times and they aren't loud. Secure and sheltered. Dog friendly. Would stay again when coming to Fairbourne.

Location was excellent for Barmouth, mainline and stream train (quite expensive) plus short walk to the beach which is lovely and not busy like Barmouth in peak periods. Local store and post office plus chippy. Whilst close the mainline train noise was not an issue. Ferry over to Barmouth was £4/adult each way). No reception just a telephone call to Stuart who we did not see until our second day. Facilities are basic but adequate. Seemed to be some very longer term storage of old vans. Lighting in gents was very poor as many of the lights were not working ...take a torch! I think £7/night for electric is a bit steep

Lovely campsite! Will be back again for sure. We were with the kids for the weekend and had such a great time. Very nice owner, clean toilets and 3 mins walk to train station

Absolutely love staying at Ynys Faig campsite. Perfectly situated just a walk from Fairbourne beach and amenities. Stayed before and will definitely be staying again.
