About Willow Farm
Park yourselves on a pitch at Willow Farm and you'll be well placed for all sorts of outings in the Gloucestershire countryside and the ever-popular Cotswolds National Landscape. This pop-up farm site sits in the village of Kempsford, meaning you can walk to the Thames Path in just a few minutes – and the local pub is pleasingly close by for a refreshing pint once you've finished the day's hike. If you're visiting for the Fairford Air Show, it's only a 10-minute walk from the farm to the show entrance.
Back on site you'll be staying on several acres of secluded fields, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and set their kit up as they like – awnings, gazebos and barbecues all welcome. Shared facilities include wifi, a washing-up area, communal fridge, showers and portable toilets. Dogs are very welcome as long as they're kept on leads and supervised. Both Lechlade and Fairford are about 10 minutes' drive away for when you want a few more town amenities, including riverside pubs and pretty picnic spots.

Absolutely unacceptable Airbnb hosting experience. There was no communication at all. The host (Matt) messaged right at check-in time to say he needed to cancel, then became completely unreachable. He gave multiple explanations in his 1 and only messagd — illness, selling the property (despite the property still being bookable in 2026), and even Airbnb’s AI system— but provided no warning beforehand. We only got the message when we parked up at the deserted property. Little too late. This left my friend and me (two women traveling alond with a dog) in a really stressful and unsafe situation: it was getting dark, we had driven two hours to get there, and suddenly had nowhere to stay in a remote area. He didn’t offer any help or even have the decency to speak with us directly. He left his mobile number which was off and we never heard from him again. He literally couldn't have cared less. Ive been in the toutist/hotel business all my life and have never heard of guests being treated like this. Shambles of a business. Avoid!!

I planned my 30th birthday with this venue for over three months, only for the owner to call me three hours before we were due to arrive and cancel. Sixteen friends and family had travelled from different places, including America. When I asked for compensation for the massive inconvenience, he threatened to withhold my refund. Who does that after leaving someone high and dry on their birthday? I have never experienced such malicious behaviour from a business. Thankfully, I managed to get another venue on the day, which saved the birthday, but can you imagine spending months planning with the owner only for them to cancel on the day with no real explanation? By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Please avoid this place.

We invested three months planning with this venue, only for them to cancel on the very day of our event. The behaviour was highly unprofessional and unreliable. Instead of trying to fix the situation, they offered flimsy excuses and tried to shift the blame, when in reality they had clearly messed up . I strongly advise staying well away from this venue.

What a special place! We stayed for two nights for my son's 21st birthday and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Matt (the owner) was welcoming from the minute we arrived and gave us a tour of the incredible facilities. Its a beautiful, calm, incredibly well thought out site - clearly built with love and care, we could have stayed for longer! Six stars must also go to Toby who, not only serves an incredible pint, he makes a stunningly good coffee and is a thoroughly nice bloke! Communication was excellent and it really is a gem of a place with a view to die for! We will be back!
