Apperley Cottage is a 17th-century listed house in Lower Apperley, a hamlet near Tewkesbury. The whole property is yours for the duration of your stay. It comes fully equipped for larger groups: five bedrooms (with one double, one king, one double, and two pairs of singles), two bathrooms plus a downstairs toilet and shower in the utility room. Bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, and the heating and electricity are covered, so there are no hidden costs for essentials.
The interior combines period character with practical comfort. A wood-burner in the sitting room is the focal point on cooler evenings, and gas central heating keeps things warm year-round. The layout works particularly well for families, as one of the twin rooms is accessed through an adjoining double, which suits children sleeping near parents. Outside, the generous driveway has space for up to five cars, a real advantage when you're arriving with a large group. Dogs are welcome. A pub sits within a mile of the property.
The rural location puts you within reach of countryside walks from your doorstep, with riverside paths nearby, and it's well positioned for day trips to the Cotswolds, Forest of Dean or Malvern Hills. No smoking indoors. Check-in is after 16:00 and check-out before 10:00.
