This was our first time here. We had booked golf and darts. The golf was interesting with film themed holes. Some of the holes were very hard. We enjoyed the darts more because it was faster moving and the scores were added up for you. Plus, there were different games you could choose.

Went here for the relaxed bowling session. Brilliant. Background music, lighting and even arcade machines sound all turned down allowing a quiet session of bowling. We had precooked and out lane and drinks were ready on arrival. The children could talk to each other and learn better techniques for bowling and had a great time. Stayed and played pool afterwards and the site remained quiet with music after 10am still quiet so session could be enjoyed. Staff were terrific and helpful. Keep up the super work offering opportunities to SEND.

I've been going to The Light Cinema in Banbury for well over 3 years now, watching roughly 2–3 films a week, so it's become a real home away from home. I visit so often that I've got to know many of the staff on a first-name basis, and that genuinely makes every trip feel that bit more special. Whether it's chatting about the film I'm about to see, discussing something I've watched recently, or even being asked what I thought as I come out of a screening, those little interactions make every visit feel warm and personal. It's the kind of atmosphere that keeps me coming back week after week. Every member of the team is friendly, welcoming, efficient, and always happy to help, but I have to give particular shoutouts to Luke, Liyah, Sarah, and Annette. I've had so many lovely conversations with them over the years, and it always puts a smile on my face to see them behind the concessions as I arrive for my next screening. I genuinely couldn't recommend The Light Cinema enough. Whether you're a bona fide cinema-goer like myself or just looking for a casual trip to the movies, there's something here for everyone. Fantastic staff, great atmosphere, and an all-round brilliant cinema experience.

We had such a fantastic visit to the bowling alley today. A special mention has to go to Ethan, he was so incredibly helpful and friendly and really went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. It's always lovely to be served by someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers, and Ethan is a real credit to the team. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable!
