Dothan Farm Cottages is a single-level cottage in rural Fife, part of a row of four properties near Kirkcaldy. Everything you need for self-catering is provided: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with initial logs for the wood burner. The kitchen is properly fitted out with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge-freezer, opening onto the rear garden through patio doors. A wood burner in the living room makes the space warm during colder months.
Inside, there are two bedrooms—one with a king-size bed, the other with a zip-and-link king-size (or two single beds on request)—and a shower room with heated towel rail. The bright living room faces open fields at the front of the property. To the rear, a patio area overlooks the same fields with views across to the Falkland and Lomond hills. Both front and rear gardens have sitting-out areas and furniture; the back garden also has a BBQ. Parking for two cars is available at the rear, with additional shared spaces nearby. One dog is welcome. Note that access from the rear involves 23 steps, though a front entrance exists with no steps and a drop-off area is available for those who need it.
