Hall Teasses Lodge suits families and groups seeking space and rural quiet. The detached house occupies a working estate where rolling farmland and a fishing lake frame the surroundings. Inside, the layout places the main living spaces upstairs—a generous dining room, sitting area and practical kitchen—to make full use of the views, while three bedrooms and two bathrooms occupy the ground floor. One bedroom has an ensuite; the others share a family bathroom. An open fire provides warmth on cooler evenings, and the essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.

Outside, a patio and firepit overlook the grounds, with parking for six cars. The estate itself offers fly fishing on the lake if you have a licence, and the wider area puts you within reach of the East Neuk coast—a string of fishing villages, beaches and golf courses—and St Andrews. One dog can stay free. The property does not have a television. There is an unfenced lake in the grounds, and the water supply comes from a natural spring. Smoking is not permitted.
