What visitors say
This is our second time at Talacre beach resort and this time was better than the first. We would definitely return with our family as we all had a great time. Our caravan was clean and everything worked as expected. The shower was fab for a caravan shower. There were 2 extra chairs in the cupboard, so we could all sit together around the table at meal times, as there were 6 of us in the caravan. The beds were uncomfortable for the adults so wouldn't stay for more than four nights, however the kids were fine and this was their holiday! The beach is only a ten minute walk away and is stunning. There is a fab pie shop, fish and chip shop and Ice cream shop on the way too if you fancy a treat. We used the pool once and have no complaints what so ever. Thank you Darwen for a lovely family break

Lovely little caravan park. Caravans have all you need and adequate for the stay. Whilst they look clean they could do with a more thorough going over as you tend to notice more as tge first day goes on. A little tired with stained walls?? and floors. Kettle was a little dangerous as a poor pourer, 'sharp' knives were blunter than the butter knives, pan handles loose and drawer screws popping off. No mattress protectors and the standard old spring mattresses on beds. However, all were small fry in the great scheme of things as it was a place to lay your head and eat after a nice day out. The complex is a small walk away from the van. Its has the usual...bar, restaurant, games, kids entertainment, fish and chip shop, shop, pool and gym which are all great and adequate. All employees i met spoke to were lovely and pleasant, very friendly. The beach is a little walk away and is lovely and sandy.

Lovely location, quick walk to beautiful beach and lighthouse. Very few amenities nearby. Amusements on site were closed. Lighthouse pub is great fun! And dog friendly. Access in and out was straight forward. Site was clean and tidy. However the cleanliness of the actual van was dire. Blood on back of bathroom door, dried food over the sofa cushions. Finger prints of some kind of food (I hope) all over the wood of the dining chairs. Holes in back of bathroom door covered in brown substance. What looked like snot on the bedroom wall next to the small beds. You'd need a car to access Rhyl etc as the camp is a fair distance away.
