Black Lion Folly

Black Lion Folly is a fully equipped four-bedroom property sleeping eight, converted from a Victorian farm building on a working farm near Mold. The whole house is yours alone, arranged on a single ground floor with an open-plan living space centred on a woodburner, smart TV and French doors onto the garden. Two electric ranges mean the kitchen can handle cooking for groups; essentials like Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial logs for the fire and a welcome pack.

Bedrooms vary: a super king, two standard kings, and a twin, each with its own en-suite wet room with shower, heated towel rail and toilet. The largest bedroom also has a roll-top bath. Underfloor heating runs throughout. Outside, an enclosed lawned garden has a patio and all-weather BBQ area, plus a private hot tub for seven. The site has parking for six cars and a bike store; horse owners can arrange stabling and grazing on request. One dog is welcome on the property, though it must remain on a lead as this is a working farm.

The location sits within a rural courtyard landscape with views towards Moel Famau, five minutes' drive from Mold. The surrounding hills form part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. No smoking inside the property.
