Walk through the door at Clawdd Offa and you find yourself in a converted barn where exposed beams and brickwork frame a full-sized living space. Ground floor opens into a combined kitchen and living area with a woodburner, Freeview Smart TV and access to the garden through French doors. Bedroom 1 is on this level—a kingsize with ensuite shower and separate toilet. Upstairs, three further bedrooms sleep the remaining guests: a kingsize with TV, a bunk room with a double and single, and a twin. The main bathroom has both a slipper bath and shower. The property sleeps 9 across 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking, with a range, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Essentials like bed linen, towels and wifi are provided; heating runs via solar panels and gas. Outside, the 6-acre grounds include an enclosed garden with patio and barbecue, plus a hot tub. There's a stream 15 yards from the house and a lake 200 yards away. Car parking for 4 vehicles is on site. One well-behaved pet stays free.
Located near Penyfford in Flintshire, the barn sits on the Wats Dyke footpath—walking begins at your door. Chester is 10 miles away; Liverpool about 40 minutes. Beaches at Prestatyn, Rhyl and Talacre are within 40 minutes, and family attractions including Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium and Go Ape are all within 30 minutes' drive. No smoking throughout. Check in is after 3pm, checkout before 10am.

Stayed in the glamping pods. Very dirty when we arrived. Hosts said via text message that they hadn't cleaned both beds because they didn't realise we would use both. Convinced us to stay and offered a full refund but then denied this when we requested through air bnb. Will be going through the business ombudsman, awful experience and ruined our mothers day trip

Clawdd Offa is a fantastic wedding venue. We had our party there after an elopement, and it was just perfect. Kate T was amazing throughout. (As were all the staff) The accommodation was beautiful. All our friends and family fell in love with the place. And to top it all off, they invited us back to their pre-loved wedding sale to sell all our wedding items. VIP entrance from 10:30 for those who wanted to grab the best bargains first. There was a good range of stalls, a nice flow of future brides/grooms and a lovely, friendly atmosphere. We were thrilled to pass on our beautiful wedding party decorations to other couples. Thank you so much for having us back. Don’t hesitate, book it! You won’t regret it.

I simply cannot find words to express how highly we recommend Clawdd Offa Farm as a wedding venue! We got married here on the 16th August and had the best weekend of our lives thanks to this stunning venue and the wonderful staff. From our first visit before booking, we instantly knew this venue was perfect for our special day. This is a hidden gem! Such a convenient location, close to so much, but still has that really rural and peaceful feel. The views are stunning and the facilities are beautiful. The marquee setting along with the open spaces meant that we could truly personalise our wedding down to the teeny details that only we would know about! The exclusive use of the venue Friday-Monday meant that we could drag out our celebrations that bit longer, spending valuable quality time with our families to celebrate. The houses and pods were immaculate, perfectly furnished and thought out, meaning we felt instantly at home and got to relax (as much as we could) around the wedding celebrations! Kate, the venue manager, is incredible at her job. So kind and accommodating, but has such a lovely manner and sense of humour. She put us at ease as soon as we met her and we knew our wedding was in great hands! She truly made our day a million times better and we felt she genuinely cared about us, our families and our day. I could go on and on about how amazing this venue is, but the smiles on our faces on our wedding photos say it all! THANK YOU to Kate and all of the team at Clawdd Offa Farm for making our wedding weekend the best days of our lives!
