Ty Uchaf Farm Glamping

We stayed at Ty Uchaf Farm in one of the pods during the start of April with our 5 year old son. We stayed for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. Robin is the most amazing host. He checked in with us every day to make sure we were having the best time possible. He set out bags of feed for the chickens, which our son loved feeding every day. We got to hold the chickens and we even got to hold one of the 3 day old lambs that were staying in a fenced off area in the same glamping field (they're so soft and calm). This also meant we got to see the animals every day from our pod window. We had planned to stay here so that we could visit Chester Zoo for 2 days (it's a big zoo and we needed 2 days), but in hindsight we really should have planned less to do so that we could have spent more time on the farm and exploring the local area by foot. We've stayed at a good few glamping sites over the years, and we're already planning to come back next year, but more towards the middle of summer. It was cold because of the time of year, but it was so lovely getting the wood burning stove going in the evening to keep us all really snug in the pod. Thank you, Robin, for making our stay so special. We can't wait to see you again in 2027.

We had a great stay here, it was very peaceful, welcoming and the views were amazing. Robin is a great host and took the time to make us feel at home. The boys enjoyed feeding the chickens and lambs and we will definitely be back. Note to others if it's been raining, take care on the decking and grass as it can get a little slippy. Would highly recommend this place for an off grid escape and relaxing time! Thanks Robin

This is a lovely little glamping site on a farm, with amazing views and absolutely gorgeous night skies, and we all had a great time, despite the weather attempting to put us off! Robin really cares about the people that stay with him, and he goes out of his way to ensure that you're happy, without imposing and respecting privacy. Just generally a very nice person who was very accommodating and reasonable. We stayed in the tipi, which is spacious and well kitted out. The log fire warmed the place nicely and there are hot water bottles too. There are direct walks in to the beautiful countryside leading off the site, which is really important to us because sometimes these sites can feel a little isolated if you have to walk down a road to get to any decent walks. Not so here - there is a woodland walk that takes you straight into a country park, which was gorgeous. There are tiny lambs to stroke at the moment, which our son loved. And the chickens were friendly and adorable too. Thank you very much for having us, and we will be back :).

This was the most calming bank holiday weekend I've ever had. Robin made our trip so special, and was always there if we needed anything. The stargazing pack was amazing, the view from the tipi was unbelievable , both the sunset and the stars were breathtaking. So cool that everything was so sustainable too. Would recommend for a family, a couple or if you just want some quiet time
