Plough Share works well for families wanting a country base, larger groups needing separate rooms, or couples after a peaceful retreat—the whole property is yours alone. Built into a converted farm building in Huntley, the barn contains four bedrooms spread across two floors: a super kingsize with smart TV, a kingsize with its own shower room, a double, and a bunk room with a double base and single upper berth. There's one main bathroom with a bath and shower, plus a separate toilet on the ground floor. The living space is open plan, combining kitchen, dining and sitting areas with a smart TV; you can cook properly here, with a dishwasher and American-style fridge-freezer to manage a full group.
The front garden has a wood-fired hot tub where initial fuel is supplied, plus garden furniture and a barbecue. On-site parking fits three cars. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included; there's a travel cot and highchair available if needed, and a welcome pack when you arrive. The property doesn't permit smoking. You're positioned on the edge of the Forest of Dean, making it straightforward to reach woodland walks, cycle trails and mountain biking routes, though you'll also find golf courses nearby and Cheltenham is roughly 40 minutes away by car.

We had an absolutely amazing long weekend celebrating a 60th birthday with 12 adults, 1 teenager and 3 children at Woodend Farm. It was perfect place to stay from when we arrived until we left. A huge garden with uninterrupted views of the Malvern countryside and an amazing hot tub, that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Every room was unique in the way it was decorated, a huge lounge and dining room which unfortunately we hardly used as the weather was so good. Maaike met us when we arrived which was lovely, she arranged a bee tour on the farm for some of us which was a great and memorable experience. We would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who is looking to stay somewhere that is in the countryside, in a unique house and wanting to get away from it all with friends and/or family.

Gorgeous farmhouse, fantastic size to accommodate large family bookings. So much to do at the house, we didn’t need to venture out to local places as everything was there to keep all ages busy (toddlers, young children, parents and grandparents. The large hot tub was a hit, with all the garden toys options we spent most of our time outside. Games room was great for the older children and adults. Large dining room would fit us all for mealtimes and living room for chill out times. Would definitely return! Host Maaike was very accommodating and informative from the get go.

We stayed here for a family get together for a sixtieth birthday , there was 17 of us with an age range of 6 months to 72. The farm house is lovely clean and spacious, a lovely hot tub, beautiful garden and views. We were fortunate that the weather was lovely and we spent a-lot of time outside, plenty of seats for all. Maaike is on hand Iff we needed anything. Lovely touches of a fruit bowl and a sweets and biscuits. We had a great time. Thank you

Exceptional stay – highly recommended! We had an absolutely fantastic 3‑night stay at Woodend Farmhouse Stays with 10 adults, 3 children and 3 dogs, and it couldn’t have been better. From the moment we booked to the day we left, Maaike was brilliant. She sent us a comprehensive and very helpful guide ahead of arrival, and still took the time to personally meet us when we arrived, which was such a lovely touch. The house itself is stunning. The bedrooms are beautiful, with brilliant décor and everything you could want – super snuggly duvets, pillows and blankets. All of the other rooms are spacious, comfortable and fully kitted out with everything needed for a large group stay. The hot tub was a fantastic addition, and Maaike made sure everything was perfectly maintained throughout our stay. We also loved meeting Pepper the dog, the ultimate sheepdog, who came to visit us daily and quickly became part of our experience. A real highlight was the farm’s eco‑friendly approach – especially feeding the pigs with our leftover food scraps, which everyone loved. It’s clear how much care and thought has gone into making this a welcoming, sustainable and memorable place to stay. We couldn’t recommend Woodend Farmhouse Stays highly enough and would love to return!
