Forest of Dean
View on Google MapsThe Forest of Dean is minutes away by car, with walking trails, the Sculpture Trail at Beechenhurst, and attractions like Symonds Yat Rock and Puzzlewood all within striking distance. May Hill, just outside the village, rewards a short drive with views across the Severn Vale. Gloucester cathedral and its docks are reachable for a day out, as is the May Hill Brew Co nearby. You're positioned where three counties meet—Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire—making this a logical base for exploring the borderlands.
Rusty Barn is a five-bedroom farmhouse that sleeps 10 across the whole property to yourselves. The ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining space with a smart TV and table football, plus a kitchen fitted for proper cooking: electric oven, hob, range, microwave, dishwasher and American fridge freezer among the appliances. Upstairs are five bedrooms—two with super kingsize beds and ensuite bathrooms, two with kingsize beds, and one with two singles—plus a shower room with double shower. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. One dog stays free of charge.
Outside, the back garden has a private hot tub for six, a sauna, sitting-out area with garden furniture and a firepit for evenings. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Parking for three cars is private. The property is non-smoking. A village pub serving food is within walking distance.
